- She is currently in production on MICHAEL, the highly anticipated biopic of late pop star Michael Jackson, playing 'Katherine Jackson', family matriarch to the Jackson musical family. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film also stars Oscar nominee Colman Domingo and is due out October 3rd, 2025 from Lionsgate. It landed her the #4 spot on Variety’s 55 of the Most Anticipated Film Performances of 2025. Her upcoming memoir will be published in 2026 by Gallery Books
- Recently starred opposite Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the worldwide hit Netflix comedy YOU PEOPLE from Kenya Barris, debuting at #1 on Netflix. She also recently reprised her role as ‘Jordan Armstrong’ for Peacock limited series THE BEST MAN: THE FINAL CHAPTERS, which premiered to record ratings, and earned her a 2023 NAACP Award. She also headlined MISSING, Sony’s follow-up to the box office hit thriller SEARCHING from Aneesh Chaganty opposite Storm Reid.
