Fiona Xie is a Singaporean actress who became one of the first Singaporean actresses to break into Hollywood, playing the crazy and salacious ‘Kitty Pong’ in the 2018 film CRAZY RICH ASIANS. Fiona is tied in the 3-film deal and her character will appear more prominently in films to come.
Most recently, Fiona appeared alongside Constance Wu and Henry Golding in the Warner Bros. hit film CRAZY RICH ASIANS. The film is based on a book series of the same name. While this was her Hollywood debut, she previously appeared in overseas films including: THE GOLDEN COUPLE (2012), FIST OF DRAGON (2011), RULE NUMBER ONE (2008) and ONE LEG KICKING (2001).
Fiona made her acting debut in the Singaporean TV series GROWING UP. She won "Best Newcomer" at the Star Awards 2001 after joining the entertainment industry for just over a year. After this she made appearances in additional Singaporean shows including CALEFARE as ‘Joleen Wee’, SERVES YOU RIGHT! as ‘Faith Foo Li’, SENSE OF HOME, THE HOTEL and A WAR DIARY.
Fiona was spotted by a talent scout at the age of 15 while was studying in St. Hilda's Secondary School in Singapore. She modelled for numerous print and television commercials in Singapore and Hong Kong before joining MediaCorp as a full-time artist in 2001.
