In 2019, she became the first female host on the mainstage of the Essence Music Festival with her largest audience of 50,000. She also hosted the first-ever virtual Essence festival (2020). Biography

Loni Love is a two-time EMMY, two-time NAACP Image & three-time Gracie Award-winning host, comedian, actress, author, and philanthropist. A talk show host known for her dynamic ability to provide in-depth meaningful conversation with a hint of levity. She has interviewed top A-List entertainers such as Vice President Kamala Harris, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Idris Elba, Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez, Tracee Ellis Ross and more. Loni is the Executive Producer of Little Women Unfiltered: Atlanta- an after show for Little Women: Atlanta, season six on Lifetime. Loni was the host of the highly rated post Salt-N-Peppa movie interview with the real legendary artists on Lifetime and narrator for the 13th season of Bridezillas on WETV.  In addition, she also co-Executive Produced the Telly Award-winning “Saluting Our Culture” series dedicated to honoring different women, men, and organizations across the United States.
 
Loni is one of the co-hosts of the GRACIE Award-winning weekend radio show Cafe Mocha where she has interviewed a variety of guests such as President Obama and superstars like John Legend, Tyler Perry, Jam & Terry among many others. Cafe Mocha is the only nationally syndicated show of its kind created by women of color. The show is broadcast on over 40 stations including SiriusXM Channel 141. In 2020 and 2021, Loni served as the solo host for the Daytime Emmys Children’s, Lifestyle and Animations Award Ceremony. Loni has appeared in a myriad of movies including Mother’s Day, the successful Paul Bart Mall Cop 2 opposite Kevin James, Soul Plane with Kevin Hart, the Bad Ass franchise with Danny Glover and Danny Trejo, and Adopt A Highway alongside Ethan Hawke. The busy Ms. Love is a proud ally for the LGBTQ+ community and holds the 2022 WOWIE award for Best Queen Comedian. Love has been seen as a contestant on RuPaul’s Celebrity Drag Race, appeared as a recurring guest judge for Season 13 and 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and served as keynote speaker for Vision Cathedral’s Convention advocating inclusion for all. She was a proud representative for the 2022 West Hollywood Pride Parade for Project Angel Food. Love cohosted Squirrel Friends, the official RuPaul Drag Race podcast co-produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, iHeartRadio - the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac - and Emmy-winning media company World of Wonder. Loni is the subject of the documentary “Being Loni Love,” which traces her life story from her early days as a latchkey daughter growing up in Detroit’s Brewster- Douglas housing projects to national stand-up comedienne and successful host/actress.
