South African born Sasha Pieterse rose to stardom as wild child “Alison DiLaurentis” on the ABC Family/Freeform hit series PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, a role for which she won two Teen Choice Awards and then reprised on the spinoff series THE PERFECTIONISTS. She can currently be seen starring in Paramount's IMAGE OF YOU for producer Brad Krevoy and MPCA. Before this, Sasha starred in Netflix's three movie franchise adaptation of Annie Barrows' New York Times bestselling book series IVY + BEAN, alongside Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Lynch and Nia Vardalos - playing the beloved 'Ms. Aruba-Tate'.

Sasha played “Japonica Fenway” in INHERENT VICE, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Martin Short, for Warner Bros.  She can also be seen starring in the 2018 Lionsgate film THE HONOR LIST produced by Zoe Saldana, which followed her starring role in the Netflix feature COIN HEIST. Previous to this, Sasha starred in the independent comedy G.B.F (GAY BEST FRIEND) directed by Darren Stein which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and in the independent film BURNING BODHI directed by Matthew McDuffie starring opposite Kaley Cuoco and Cody Horn.

Pieterse’s cookbook Sasha in Good Taste was published by Dey Street Books in October 2019.
