Will Kemp is well known for his role on the critically acclaimed BRAVO drama GIRLFRIEND’S GUIDE TO DIVORCE as “Scott” a charismatic, off-beat, handsome vegan baker at Jo’s shop. Will also had a recurring role on season 3 of the CBS drama CODE BLACK, which premiered in spring of 2018. He starred on the CW season REIGN, in 2017 for one season. Will’s previous television appearances include roles on: 90210, NIKITA, HR, NON-STOP and KRISTIN’S CHRISTMAS PAST. He also joined the cast as DC UNIVERSE’S DOOM PATROL. Will recently starred in the HALLMARK CHANNEL film LOVE, ROMANCE, AND CHOCOLATE opposite Lacey Chabert (February 2019). He most recently starred on Netflix’s drama SPINNING OUT, a series about the world of competitive figure skating. He plays the role of the coach ‘Mitch’ alongside January Jones. He can also be seen in the television Christmas film, THE CHRISTMAS WALTZ, opposite Lacey Chabert.
Will starred in the 2018 Hallmark television movie ROYAL MATCHMAKER opposite Bethany Joy Lenz. In 2004, Will made his big screen debut in ‘Stephen Sommer’’s monster thriller VAN HELSING as “Velkan” the werewolf. The film grossed over 300 million dollars worldwide. Will is also well known for his role in STEP UP 2: THE STREETS as “Blake Collins” the strict director of dance school MSA. The film went on to make over 150 million dollars worldwide.
Will Kemp will next star in the UK thriller BARBARIANS opposite Tom Cullen and Iwan Rheon.
Trained at the Royal Ballet School, at age 17, he was accepted at dance company, Adventures in Motion Pictures (AMP). He won the lead role of The Swan in the all-male cast of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake from 1997 to 2000 in both London and Broadway. In 2002 he could be seen dancing to “Stuff Like That” in a Peter Lindbergh-directed commercial for Gap’s “For Every Generation” campaign and in 2004, he appeared alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in two Francis Lawrence-directed spots, “Color” and “Shine”, for Gap’s “How Do You Share It” campaign.
Will lives in London with his wife Gaby and two children.
